Translation technologies

Local-M is integrated with several translation technologies, allowing us to provide best-of-quality service:

Translation Memory, a technology used to create a database out of all your past translations, from which previously translated material can be easily recalled. In case of new software or document versions, Translation Memory allows us to work on deltas only, and re-use the rest of the texts as they were used in the previous version.

This significantly increases our service efficiency – saving you time and money.

Local-M also provides the unique service of initially creating your Translation Memory database, including files that were translated by another translation provider who did not use translation memory tools. This is to make sure that from now on, your translation project will be as efficient as possible.

By default the Translation Memory is partitioned per client, and can be sent to you after your project’s completion.

Glossary Management is also integrated with Local-M and ensures consistency of terms throughout your translation projects.

Glossary Management works in conjunction with Translation Memory to ensure you have control and effective re-use of all your multi-language materials.

Our Translation Management technologies allow us to translate all major file formats with great efficiency. This ensures easy and efficient delivery and receipt of materials, with no need for conversion or preparation.
